Our Programs Group Homes Comprehensive and structured home-like atmosphere for abused, neglected, troubled and delinquent youth that offers: individual, group and family counseling, life skills training and independent living preparation, coordination of education, medical, mental health and restitution/ community service programs, recreational programming, case management services, positive incentive program, and AODA specialized treatment. Find out more > Education: Southeastern Education Center The Southeastern Education Center provides educational services for up to 90 middle school students a semester from sixth through eighth grades who are referred from Milwaukee Public Schools. Our program serves these behavior-reassigned students by providing the opportunity to improve academic deficiencies through daily classroom instruction, integrated educational projects, motivational speakers and focused educational field trips. Find out more > Child Day Care: Circle of Friends Circle of Friends provides quality care for children. We promote educational experiences to help children learn and grow in a safe, clean, nurturing environment. Find out more > Mentoring and Tutoring A provider for the First Time Juvenile Offenders Program since 2000, Southeastern Youth and Family Services provides academic support services to at-risk youth in need of supportive services. Currently Southeastern staff supply this service. Mentors can make a difference in the life of a child, advising and encouraging a young person at a critical point in their life. Southeastern will attempt to match individuals who are willing to make a one-year commitment to spend one hour a week with a child who needs help. For more information, contact us at info@syfs.org. |
