POSITION: Afterschool Program Supervisor
STATUS: FULL TIME, Milwaukee
30-40 hr per week, Monday-Friday, 9:30am-6:30pm
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Seeking a high energy youth oriented individual to assist in the development and implementation of a new after school academic and recreation-based program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing guidance and supervision with structured learning opportunities, such as teamwork, leadership and community involvement to "at-risk" adolescents. In addition, providing youth with enrichment opportunities in an educational setting not available during the regular school day.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Education or Human Services.
Knowledge of school-based programs and clients.
Experience with at-risk or special education population preferred.
Ability to handle confidential information and sensitive issues.
Valid Wisconsin driver's license with good driving record required.
Over 21 years of age.
POSITION: Youth Workers
STATUS: FULL-TIME, Waukesha
40 hours per week, 1st shift
STATUS: FULL TIME RELIEF & On-Call Relief, Milwaukee & Waukesha
40 hours per week, 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts (Location and shift varies on the program's need of coverage). Must be willing to travel to Waukesha.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Youth Worker positions available in Milwaukee and Waukesha area. Candidate will provide direct supervision, guidance and leadership to "at-risk" male adolescents in a group care settings in all areas of daily living and community involvement. Youth Worker positions require 24 hours of staff development per calendar year in addition to First Aid, CPR including AED, and Fire Safety training.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent.
One year of full-time experience working in a group care setting with at-risk adolescent population,
Or training in caring for children or youth,
Or certification as a child and youth care worker.
Valid Wisconsin driver's license with good driving record required.
Over 21 years of age.
