Programs
Southeastern Youth & Family Services provides services to at-risk youth in the greater Milwaukee area through three primary areas: comprehensive group care programming for at-risk male adolescents through our Adolescent Group Care programs; alternative middle school classes for behaviorally reassigned and special education students at the Southeastern Education Center; and several specialized community-based programs for at-risk youth, including an after school and recreation center, a suspension supervision program, and a tutoring and mentoring program.

History
Southeastern Youth and Family Services, Inc. (originally Southeastern Wisconsin Homes, Inc.) was founded April 25, 1973 to provide group home care and group treatment that had been developed initially and run directly by the State of Wisconsin, State Department of Health and Social Services, Division of Family Services. In 1978, Southeastern was licensed as a child placement agency, and began providing direct social services to our clients and their families.

Since then, Southeastern expanded its services to include AODA treatment and relapse-prevention and therapy services; an alternative middle school for behaviorally reassigned Milwaukee Public School students; and several specialized community-based programs. Find out more >
